Wat is de eenvoudigste manier om een CNC-machine aan te sluiten?

Gebruik wat de besturing al spreekt: native OPC UA op SINUMERIK (met licentie) en recente HEIDENHAIN-besturingen, FOCAS op FANUC, de MTConnect-agent van de machinebouwer op Haas, Mazak en Okuma. Voeg alleen een gateway toe als de native interface ontbreekt of vergrendeld is.

Heb ik een licentie nodig om data uit een CNC te lezen?

Vaak wel, op de CNC of op de collector: Siemens verkoopt Access MyMachine /OPC UA, HEIDENHAIN verkoopt de opties 56–61 en 18, FANUC verkoopt de FOCAS-bibliotheek, Haas geeft MTConnect vrij via zijn Factory Outlet. De MTConnect-agent en de THINC API van Okuma zijn gratis.

Welke poort moet ik openen voor CNC-monitoring?

FOCAS gebruikt TCP 8193, OPC UA-servers meestal 4840, MTConnect-agents 5000 (Haas NGC 8082, DMG MORI CELOS 15404), HEIDENHAIN DNC 19000 of 19003. Zie het spiekbriefje poorten.
