MTConnect

MTConnect is a read-only, HTTP-based standard for machine-tool data. An adapter talks to the control (often in the SHDR text format, typically on TCP 7878) and an agent publishes XML or JSON on HTTP, conventionally port 5000, with the endpoints /probe, /current, /sample and /assets. Builders ship agents on the control (Haas NGC on 8082, Mazak, Okuma's free agent, Hurco, DMG MORI CELOS on 15404) or on a PC (FANUC MTConnect Server, Mitsubishi MTConnect Adapter, NUMConnect).
