OPC UA in Python (legacy)
This is the old Python stack, imported as `opcua`. It is deprecated and superseded by asyncua. It appears here only because a great deal of published tutorial material still uses it, and you need to recognise that when you meet it.

What to know before you start
- Deprecated. Do not start anything new with it.
- How to recognise it in a tutorial: `from opcua import Client` is the old stack; `from asyncua import Client` is current.
- Migrating is mostly mechanical: the same object model, with awaits added and read/write method names modernised.
- If you have it in production it still works, but it is not receiving fixes.
Recipes for this stack are not published yet. The twelve-task recipe matrix currently covers Python, Node.js, C#/.NET and C. The concepts are identical across stacks: start from the Python recipes and map the calls.
