Industrial
Track C is the one that reaches the plant. It covers companion specifications (the standard information models that make integration portable between vendors) PubSub and the unified namespace, and how to get availability, performance and quality data off a machine for OEE.

| Prerequisites | Track A. Track B helps but is not required. |
| Who it is for | Engineers and architects responsible for getting machine data into an MES, a historian, a unified namespace or an analytics platform, and the people who have to sign off the design. |
What you will be able to do
- You can tell in thirty seconds whether a machine speaks a companion specification or just tags.
- You can map a machine onto Machinery, MachineTool, PackML or Weihenstephan types.
- You can choose between client-server and PubSub for a given data flow and defend the choice.
- You can publish machine data to MQTT with a topic structure that survives contact with a second machine.
- You can model availability, performance and quality from what a machine genuinely exposes.
- You can state exactly which OEE inputs are not in the machine and must come from ERP or MES.

Companion specifications
A companion specification is what turns integration from a per-machine project into something portable. This course works up the real stack (DI, Machinery, MachineTool, PackML, Weihenstephan) and shows how to tell in thirty seconds what a machine actually implements.

PubSub, MQTT and the UNS
Client-server does not fan out. This course covers OPC UA PubSub (the Part 14 model, UADP and JSON encodings, the UDP, Ethernet and MQTT mappings) and how it relates to a unified namespace, Sparkplug B and the determinism work in UAFX.

Machine data for OEE
The flagship course. Availability, performance and quality, each traced to what a machine genuinely exposes over OPC UA (state machines rather than spindle current, counters rather than edge-detected booleans, events rather than polled reasons) and an honest account of the inputs that are not in the machine at all.
