Assesses whether you can get trustworthy availability, performance and quality data off a machine over OPC UA, and, just as importantly, whether you can state which OEE inputs are not in the machine at all.

How it is assessed

Forty-five questions, plus a mapping exercise: given a browse dump of a real machine, model availability, performance and quality, name the companion-spec types you would use, and list every input you cannot get from the machine. Reviewed by hand.

What it is aligned to

Aligned to the Device Information Model identification units, the Machinery building-block conformance units for item state, operation mode and counters, the MachineTool production statistics and condition classes, and the Part 9 and Part 13 units for condition events and server-side aggregates.

What this credential is not: This credential is issued by OPC UA Connect and by nobody else. Certification in the OPC UA ecosystem is a product-level programme: a specific product version is tested at an independent laboratory against named profiles and facets. We are not aware of any individual, person-level OPC UA certification offered by the specification's publisher or by any standards body. So this certificate is not issued by, recognised by, endorsed by, accredited by or equivalent to any such programme, and it should not be described as one. What it does assess is real, and the profiles and facets it is aligned to are public and named: see our disclosure page for how we state all of this.
